PURPOSE: To provide a given dry reduction factor by a method wherein, in the middle of double dry or single dry by means of a cereal drier comprising a heat radiation cooling tank and a cereal drying part, a part of cereals in the drier is transferred to the heat radiation tank for drying.

CONSTITUTION: A cereal drying part 4 and a heat radiation cooling tank 5 are provided. In the middle of double drying effected by means of both the cereal drier 4 and the heat radiation cooling 5, a part of cereals are transferred to the heat radiation cooling tank 5 or a part of the cereals circulated and dried by means of the cereal drying part 4 are transferred to the heat radiation cooling tank 5. Only the remaining cereals are circulated and dried by means of the cereal drying part 4.
