Abstract:
To provide a drying method and drying facility for sludge adequate for a thermal decomposition facility and a thermal decomposition method applying this drying method.
A drying means 20 is formed of an approximately closed cylindrical vessel 21 and the sludge is fed into this cylindrical vessel 21 and is moved. Hot gas is vented in a direction facing the direction where the sludge is moved. The hot gas is positively brought into contact with the sludge, by which the sludge is effectively dried.
