Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a laundry pole from easily dropping from a laundry pole support tool.SOLUTION: In a laundry pole 1, at both ends of an outer pipe 2, inner pipes 3 and 3 each having a cross section smaller than that of the outer pipe 2 are provided so as to be adjustable by extension and contraction thereof. A stopper 5 is fixed inside the center of the outer pipe 2. To the respective outer end parts of the inner pipes 3 and 3, there are attached caps 4 and 4 which each have a cross section larger than that of each of the inner pipes 3 and 3 and approximately equal in size to that of the outer pipe 2. The inner pipes 3 and 3 include extension and contraction lock bodies 8 and 8 attached to both ends thereof, and can be fixed while being each adjusted by extension and contraction with respect to the outer pipe 2. When the inner pipes 3 and 3 are fixed in such a way that the full length of the laundry pole 1 is adjusted to be the shortest, their respective inner end parts are brought into contact with the stopper 5, and gaps are formed between the end parts of the outer pipe 2 and the caps 4 and 4. As a result, there are formed engagement recess parts 28 and 28 which each form a difference in level lower by one step than the outer pipe 2 and each of the caps 4 and 4. The stopper 5 can be fixed inside the outer pipe 2 by expanding a pair of pressure-contact bodies 6 and 6 with an expansion body 7.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
