To provide a method for storing cereal grains in a smaller number of bins, in a greater efficiency of unloading and drying work, and at a smaller construction cost for grain storage facility without lowering the storage capacity of the facility.
This drying storage of cereal grains comprises placing grains of a high water content in thin stack condition in drying bins (11) of a small volume, semidrying the grains in the small-volume drying bins (11), transferring the semidried grains of a low water content in deep stack condition into a storage bin of a large volume, and drying or storing the grains there. When the large-volume bin (17) becomes full of the grains, the grains are charged into the small-volume drying bins until the bins are filled with grains, and dried and stored there while being stirred or replaced with grains to be subsequently charged.
