Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a binary refrigeration device which can reduce a refrigerant filling amount of a low-temperature refrigeration cycle and which can realize cost reduction and improve reliability.SOLUTION: The binary refrigeration device 100 has an outdoor unit 1 in which a high-temperature compressor 10, a condenser 11, a high-temperature flow rate controlling device 12, a cascade heat exchanger 20, and a low-temperature compressor 30 are accommodated, and a cooling unit 2 in which a low-temperature first flow rate controlling device 32 and an evaporator 31 are accommodated, wherein the outdoor unit 1 and the cooling unit 2 are connected by a liquid piping 3 and a gas piping 4. The outdoor unit 1 has a low-temperature second flow rate controlling device 33 at an outlet piping which is a low-temperature refrigeration cycle side of the cascade heat exchanger 20, reduces a pressure of a low-temperature refrigerant flowing out from the cascade heat exchanger 20 with a low-temperature second flow rate controlling device 33 and puts the low-temperature refrigerant flowing through the liquid piping 3 in an air-liquid two-phase state.
