Abstract:
To provide a duct including an external skeleton and a sound absorption structure, and a vehicle using such a duct.SOLUTION: A noise attenuation duct 100 includes: an external skeleton structure 110, and a sound absorption structure 120 which is provided in the external skeleton structure along the external skeleton structure. The external skeleton structure 110 mechanically supports the sound absorption structure 120 from an outer side, thereby assisting maintenance of a cylindrical shape of the sound absorption structure. This support from the outer side does not prevent air flow in the sound absorption structure 120. Further, by locating the external skeleton structure 110 on an outer side, integration of various support attachment parts for installing the duct 100 to a vehicle can be realized. The external skeleton structure 110 includes a plurality of openings 116 to be surrounded in order to reduce a weight of the external skeleton structure 110 and to provide further flexibility. Further, by additional manufacture of the external skeleton structure 110, a monolithic structure, which has the above-said various features and properties, can be realized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2A
