Abstract:
To provide a method and a device for easily and properly manufacturing a duct using nonwoven fabric as a material.
In this method of manufacturing the duct 20 by welding flanges 24, 24 of a plurality of duct halves 22, 22 composed of nonwoven fabric including fiber 12 of a thermoplastic synthetic resin as a material, in an overlapped state, duct-side areas 24b of the overlapped flanges 24, 24 are held and pressed, then a gas G of a desired temperature is supplied to outer areas 24c of the flanges 24, 24 from one of outer surfaces 24a, and then the outer areas 24c are held and pressed.
