Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the number of stoppages of an air-conditioning and ventilating function and the stopping time of the function smaller than a conventional method, and to prevent environmental deterioration in a building while minimizing an effect on others.
SOLUTION: The duct replacing method has a first process, in which each existing duct 3, 7 arranged at both end sections of a duct replacing section S are removed, a second process, in which an extensible flexible duct 10 in the longitudinal direction is inserted and disposed into intermediate existing ducts 4-6 while both end ports of the flexible duct 10 are connected to the end-section ports of existing ducts 2, 8 respectively, a third process, in which all intermediate existing ducts 4-6 are taken off, and a fourth process, in which end-section new ducts 23, 24 arranged at both end sections of the duct replacing section S are removed and intermediate new ducts 20-22 are installed while the intermediate section of the duct replacing section S is surrounded by the flexible duct 10. The duct replacing method consists of a fifth process, in which the flexible duct 10 is taken off while the end-section new ducts 23, 24 are inserted and mounted at both end sections of the duct replacing section S respectively.
