Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a duplex concentric poppet valve kept substantially constant over a allowable valve-opening range in a form independent of the geometry of a poppet where the discharge flow ratio of two types of fluids is different relative to a related valve seat.
SOLUTION: A duplex concentric poppet valve 44 has an inner hole passing therethrough and a mainbody 45 having a valve seat encircling the inner hole. It includes a first member 46 installed in the inner hole in an axially movable manner. The member 46 has an concentric poppet guide hole having a truncate cone face in a space to a valve seat for forming a first variable area orifice 96 and passing therethrough and a truncated cone face encircling the inner hole. A second member 48 is installed in the poppet guide hole in a coaxially movable manner and has a truncated cone face forming a second variable area orifice 98 in a space to the truncated cone face. A operator 49 is provided for selectively moving the first member 46 to the mainbody 45 so as to keep the opening area ratio of two orifices substantially constant while moving the second member 48 to the first member 46.
