PURPOSE: To provide a dust collecting structure sucking, collecting and discharging dust, chips, etc., through a supporting part without disturbing its motion.
CONSTITUTION: A main unit is provided with an absorbing port 15 and a discharge port 24, to have inside it a communication path 25 of connecting the absorption port 15 to the discharge port 24, and to support a DC motor 11. A tool supporting part 20, operably connected to the DC motor 11, has a suction hole, discharge hole 20b directly communicating with the absorbing port 15 of the main unit during operation the tool supporting part 20 and suction space 22 of connecting the suction hole to the discharge hole 20b. A dust chute 29 has a suction end part and a point end part, so as to connect the suction end part to communicate in a different position of the main unit, and the point end part is connected to a dust collector, to suck dust and the other chips, generated during operation a power tool, successively through the suction hole, suction space 22 and the communication path 25, discharged through the dust chute 29.
