PURPOSE: To prevent thin-walling and peeling of a film due to wear thereof by providing both an undercoat layer of lipophilic conductive coating and a topcoat layer of oil resistant conductive coating with a double-layer structure on a base plate made of electric insulating resin and constituting a dust collection electrode plate.
CONSTITUTION: Strong adhesive properties for a base plate 2 made of electric insulating resin are obtained by applying lipophilic conductive coating on the electrode surface 3 of the base plate 2 made of resin and forming an undercoat layer 7. Further a topcoat layer 8 is formed by applying oil resistant conductive coating incorporating resin which shows bonding properties therefor on this undercoat layer 7 and thereby this layer 8 is allowed to act as one kind of protective film or a permeation barrier for the conductive films. Therefore the service life as an electrode plate 1 is remarkably prolonged because nicotine and fine oil droplets are prevented from being infiltrated into the films and stuck thereon and infiltration of a detergent at a time of washing is prevented.
