Abstract:
To provide a dust collector enhancing the efficiency of dust collection.
At least one of plural branch ducts branching off a duct main is provided with flow passage opening/closing means capable of opening and closing flow passages. The flow passages of the branch ducts are closed to enhance airtightness inside the duct main and the other branch ducts to enhance a suction force. A cover is mounted for covering the cutter and the drill of a machine to which the dust collector is connected, and the branch ducts are connected to the cover to prevent dust generated during machining from scattering out of the cover.
