Abstract:
To provide a dust collector capable of removing fine particles floating in the air in a relatively wide space.SOLUTION: A dust collector includes: at least one nozzle which is arranged in a blow-off section of blown air, can jet supplied liquid as droplets, and is connected to the ground; an electrode section which includes a counter electrode having a shape surrounding by a half or more around an opening, is provided with one counter electrode for one nozzle, and has the counter electrode arranged separately from the nozzle in a direction in which the nozzle jets droplets; and a high voltage generation device which has a ground terminal connected to the ground and is for applying high voltage to the counter electrode connected to an output terminal. Current flowing between the nozzle and the ground is 0.3 milliampere/(square meter liter/min) or less per liter/min of droplet jet amount and per square meter of opening area of the blow-off section when leak current does not flow between the nozzle and the counter electrode.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
