Abstract:
To provide a method for coloring various substances by using a coumarin compound having poor solvent solubility, as a colorant without utilizing dispersion techniques, and a coloring composition suitable for the method.SOLUTION: A dye compound is represented by a general formula (1). In the formula (1), R1 and R2 each represent a C1 to 6 alkyl group. R3 to R6 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1 to 4 alkyl group, a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, a cyano group or an amide group. R7 to R10 independently represent a hydrogen atom, a C1 to 4 alkyl group, a halogen atom, an alkoxy group, a cyano group, an amide group, a carboxy group or a sulfo group.
