This element contains a mordant and a base and/or base precursor on one surface of a supporting body. The element contains 0.3 to 5 g/m2 polyvinylalcohol and inorg. oxide fine particles by ≥25 wt.% and ≤150 wt.% of the polyvinylalcohol on the other surface. As for the inorg. oxide fine particles, particles of colloidal alumina hydrate and other inorg. oxide fine particles are preferably used together.
