Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a dyed textile product having the unique and natural color and feeling of REISHI (fruit body of Ganoderma lucidum), good dyeing property and extremely high color fastness and exhibiting antibacterial and antiallergic activities.
CONSTITUTION: The objective dyed textile product can be produced by treating a textile with tannic acid and dyeing with the extract of mycelia or fruit body of REISHI. Concretely, it can be produced by contacting a textile product made of cotton, hemp, silk, wool, etc., with a pretreating liquid containing tannic acid such as GOBAISHI (gall of Rhus chinensis), contacting the tannic acid- treated product with a mordant liquid containing alumina mordant such as ash of Symplocos chinensis or camellia to effect the fixing and mordanting of the tannic acid and dyeing the mordanted textile by contacting with a dyeing liquid containing the extract of mycelium or fruit body of REISHI.
