Abstract:

To use an optimal spread code wherein interference between channels is reduced, in accordance with a change in the situation of CDMA communications.

When a communication area to be covered by the base station is variable, during communications between the base station and the terminal, change of the spread code is advised and after the advice, the spread code is changed into a spread code, thereby interference between a channel of the communications and the other channel is reduced. When changing the code, code assignment is adjusted for a channel with great interference to be the same long code.
