Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a dynamic pressure bearing device which can prevent scattering of oil having excellent reliability in a high speed rotational area.
CONSTITUTION: A herringbone groove 7 is formed on an axial proper portion between a bearing hole 20 and a rotary shaft 1. An upper end large diameter part 5a is formed, on the bearing hole 20, which part 5a is located at an upper portion of the herringbone groove 7 and has an upper end open. The upper end large diameter part 5a has a cap &utri r3 equal to or greater than five times of &utri r1 between the bearing hole 20 and the rotary shaft 1 and not more than 0.2mm. A circular groove 8 having a large diameter than that of the upper end large diameter part 5a is formed on the part 5a.
