Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide an earth excavator for a pneumatic caisson, which can excavate a bedrock in a workroom completely even in a circular caisson having a small diameter and can be miniaturized and lightened as a whole.
CONSTITUTION: A swing seat 5 having a small diameter and a travelling rail 6 having a diameter larger than the swing seat 5 are fixed concentrically onto the ceiling surface 4 of the workroom 3 of a caisson body 1, and a travelling body 7 with a travelling driving gear 11 is suspended to the travelling rail 6. A pair of traverse rails 19a, 19b are bridged between a swing seat 5 and the travelling body 7 through a traverse frame 15, a traverse body 21 with a traverse driving gear 25 is suspended to the traverse rails 19a, 19b, and an excavator 30 is installed to the traverse body 21 through a swing bearing 29, thus constituting the title earth excavator.
