Abstract:
PURPOSE:To extract a scan-synchronizing earth image even if a high accuracy sun pulse cannot be obtained due to the eclipse period or the fault of hardware by adjusting a parameter for an expression calculating a spin period and a reference phase through the use of an averaged phase. CONSTITUTION:An earth center phase measurement part 6 measures the phase of an earth center from infrared data or an earth pulse inputted through a switch 5, and outputs said phase to an averaging and processing part 7. It averages and outputs the phase measurement values. Inputting that, a parameter correction amount calculation part 8 calculates a parameter correction amount by which a calculated spin period and reference phase are corrected with the aid of the average of the phases of the earth center. An image extraction timing generation part 10 generates an image extracting timing through the use of the spin period and the reference phase, a scan synchronizing image extraction part 11 extracts data on images that have been scan-synchronized out of earth image data inputted through a data separator 2, and outputs the extracted data to a terminal 12.
