Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a leakage relay or the like capable of preventing a malfunction of the leakage relay in more simplified configuration and more reliably compared to the prior arts.SOLUTION: A leakage relay issues a warning by determining the presence/absence of leakage in a cable run from whether an effective value of a secondary voltage waveform of a zero-phase-sequence current transformer provided in a three-phase cable run exceeds a predetermined value. The leakage relay comprises determination means for obtaining a tertiary harmonic component of the secondary voltage waveform of the zero-phase-sequence current transformer and determining whether the tertiary harmonic component value exceeds a predetermined threshold value. When the tertiary harmonic component value exceeds the threshold value, a warning function of the leakage relay is stopped. The determination means also calculates a current value flowing in the three-phase cable run from the tertiary harmonic component value and outputs the current value.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
