PURPOSE: To inform the earthquake information quickly through TVs or the like even without an expensive seismograph in an earthquake data informing apparatus.
CONSTITUTION: This informing apparatus is provided with an earthquake data notifying part 4 in the rear stage of an earthquake data detecting device 10. The earthquake data detecting device 10 is comprised of a vibration acceleration detecting part for detecting the acceleration of the vibration, a pure earthquake component operating part, which extracts pure components of the earthquake from the output of the detecting part thereby to calculate the synthesized acceleration or the like, and an earthquake data display part 3 for displaying the output of the operating part. The earthquake data notifying part 4 is constituted of an electromagnetic wave modulating circuit 5 for modulating the electromagnetic waves by the output of the display part 3, an electromagnetic wave generator 6 for generating the electromagnetic waves to be supplied to the modulating circuit 5, and an electromagnetic wave signal transmission circuit 7 for transmitting a signal to a transmission antenna 8 which transmits the output of the electromagnetic wave modulating circuit to the surrounding receiving devices.
