PURPOSE: To enable persons in a building to be correctly and promptly informed of earthquake information by setting by in various spots of the building two or more earthquake information display devices by an output signal from an earthquake analyzer device analyzing a signal of an earthquake sensor necessary for the earthquake-time control operation of an elevator.
CONSTITUTION: When an earthquake is generated, a longitudinal wave of quick propagation speed arrives at a building 2, being detected as the initial fine movement by an initial fine movement sensor 7 transmitting a signal to an earthquake analyzer 10. Next the analyzer 10 analyzes the signal feeding a lamp lighting signal of each earthquake information display device 11 and a refuge information display part 12. Next, when a transverse wave of principal movement arrives at the building, the earthquake, being in a weak shock class, is detected only by a low gal sensor 8 feeding a signal to the analyzer 10. Then the analyzer 10 calculates by a unit of second the time difference from the signal from the initial fine movement sensor 7, integrating 7.42km/sec, and a digital display signal is generated in an earthquake center distance display part 14 in the earthquake information display device 11. Simultaneously, a lamp lighting display signal is generated of a weak shock part of an earthquake intensity display part 13. By the above constitution, the earthquake information can be displayed in the display device 11.
