Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easel with simple structure and near by which a drawing material setting place can be easily made.
SOLUTION: This easel has two front legs 1 and two rear legs 2 for supporting the front legs so as not to be fallen down. A metal support 3 is fit in the upper part of each rear leg 2 to make the rear leg 2 rotatable in the longitudinal direction to enable to open the leg for use and close for storage. A first traverse member 11 is bridged between both front leg 1 and a second traverse member 12 is fixed between both rear legs 2 at the level corresponding to the height of the first traverse member 11. Notches corresponding to the first and second traverse members 11 and 12 are formed on the backside of a plate member 13. Bridging the plate member 13 between the traverse members 12 and 13 enable the open leg condition of the easel to be stabilized and to easily make a drawing material setting place.
