Abstract:
To eliminate a side tone and an echo with a simple configuration in a hands-free telephone set or a video conference system or the like.
The echo canceller is provided with a 1st FIR filter 4 for band limit purpose placed to an input side (transmission side) and a 2nd FIR filter 5 for band limit purpose placed to an output side (reception side). A filter coefficient of [a, 0, 0, 0,..., 0, a] is set to the 1st FIR filter 4, and a filter coefficient of [a, 0, 0, 0,..., 0, -a] is set to the 2nd FIR filter 5.
