Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an edge position detection device of a belt-like sheet, which can be applied to the belt-like sheet with various standard widths, which is excellent in resolution, accuracy, and durability, and which is reduced in cost.SOLUTION: An edge position detection device of a belt-like sheet includes: light emitting elements 11 emitting illumination light B1 toward an edge 30e of a belt-like sheet 30; a light receiving element row 14 converting reflection light B2 of the illumination light B1 into an electric signal by receiving the reflection light B2; a readout control section X for reading out the electric signal from the light receiving element row 14; and an edge position calculation section Y for calculating a position of the edge 30e of the belt-like sheet 30 on the basis of the electric signal read out by the readout control section X.
