PURPOSE: To provide a simplified edge sharpener for a ski allowing the concurrent machining and constant-pressure grinding of both end edge sections of the ski with good machining accuracy.
CONSTITUTION: This edge sharpener for a ski is constituted of a main body 1 having a running roller 2 running on the sliding face of the ski and arranged with grinding units 3 facing each other on the installation face of the running roller 2. The grinding unit 3 is provided with a width direction adjusting mechanism 5 kept in contact with both edge faces of the ski and capable of correcting the width direction in response to the grinding width and a constant-pressure holding mechanism 4 kept in contact with the ski edge face for the grinding of the ski edge face.
