PURPOSE: To easily produce a text for call of an OS macro by evolving an evolving text of the OS macro onto a subject text, delivering a program language of the subject text and an explaining text of the OS macro to an editing means and displaying the explaining text.

CONSTITUTION: An OS macro text to be evolved onto a text to be edited is stored in a memory means 10 and another text which explains the OS macro text is stored in an OS macro explaining text memory means 11. An OS macro evolution control means 9 connected to both means 10 and 11 is connected to a text/command analyzing means 3 and a text editing means 4. Then the program language type of the subject text is first informed to the means 9 from an input means 1. An OS macro evolving text corresponding to the program language is evolved onto the text of the means 4 from the means 10 by an indication of the means 3. Then an explaining text is delivered to the means 4 from the means 11 and the OS macro explanation is displayed on a screen display device 6.
