Abstract:
To provide an educational toy in which the primary objective is placed in learning from a failure while promoting the creativeness and the imaginative power of children in the toy using a rolling body.SOLUTION: The toy includes: a rolling body 1; and a base plate 3 where multiple insertion holes 2 are opened and bored at regular intervals in the matrix direction, and having a vertical posture or an inclined posture. The toy also includes insertable strut bodies 4 in the insertion holes 2, and passage bodies 5 capable of being placed on the inserted strut bodies 4. As a result, courses where the rolling body 1 rolls down can freely be constructed to some extent by optionally combining the strut bodies 4 and the passage bodies 5. Alternatively, the courses capable of being constructed is limited, and its reproducibility is high. As a result, the reason why it fails and the place where the failure is present are identified and improved from the failure that the rolling body 1 has fallen off from the course. Accordingly, the technique of the PDCA cycle can be made to learn spontaneously, while enjoying as a game, and thereby the learning through the failure can be obtained.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
