Abstract:

To provide a foam molded article, a mold thereof, and a method of molding the foam molded article, in which a thin portion hardly exists around a through hole.SOLUTION: A foam molded article 1 constitutes a backrest portion 7 of a seat of a vehicle. Wall portions 111 and 121 are formed on an upper portion 11 and both side portions 12 of the foam molded article 1 so as to extend toward a rear side D2 from the end portion of a main body portion 10 of the foam molded article 1. The wall portion 111 of the upper portion 11 of the foam molded article 1 is formed with a plurality of through holes penetrating in the thickness direction of the wall portion 111. The wall portion 121 of one side portion 12 of the foam molded article 1 is formed with one through hole 4 penetrating in the thickness direction of the wall portion 121. A recessed wall surface portion 41 recessed in a valley shape is formed in a portion of the inner wall surface 401 of the through hole 4 located at the rear side D2.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
