Abstract:
To form an EGR filter larger in surface area than the cross section of a reflux path from metal meshes deformed in a three-dimensional shape, to inhibit or prevent the enlargement of a sieve opening and the deformation of the sieve opening shape by the use of the metal meshes, and avoid electrolytic corrosion.
The EGR filter 1 is provided in the reflux path 23 for making a part of exhaust gas discharged from the exhaust side of an engine flow back to the intake side of the engine. The EGR filter 1 is formed of the metal meshes 14, 15 which are larger in surface area than the cross section of the reflux path 23 by diffusion-bonding crossing metal lines to each other and deforming the lines in a three-dimensional shape.
