Abstract:
To provide an EL element for a keypad capable of preventing breakdown of a driving driver due to an ESD.
The EL element for a keypad comprises a transparent insulating substrate, a front surface electrode layer formed on the whole of one surface of the transparent insulating substrate, a luminous layer formed on a part of the front surface electrode layer, an insulating layer formed on the luminous layer, a back electrode layer formed on the insulating layer, a protective layer formed on one surface to enclose the luminous layer, the insulating layer and the back electrode layer, and an ESD prevention layer formed on the other surface of the transparent insulating substrate.
