Abstract:
To provide an electric actuator having a structure with which it is possible to improve the strength of fixation of an internal gear to a case.SOLUTION: The electric actuator comprises: a motor having a motor shaft capable of rotating around a center axis extending in an axial direction; a speed reduction mechanism having an external gear connected to the motor shaft and an annular internal gear 32 surrounding the radial outside of the external gear; a case for accommodating the motor and the speed reduction mechanism in the inside; and a fixing member 180 for fixing the internal gear to the case. The case includes: a bottom wall part 13j that supports the internal gear from one side in the axial direction; and a peripheral wall part 13k positioned on the radial outside of the internal gear and surrounding the internal gear. The fixing member includes an annular part 181 that surrounds the internal gear between the internal gear and the peripheral wall part in a radial direction. The annular part is in contact with an outer circumferential surface of the internal gear and an inner circumferential surface of the peripheral wall part. A hardness of a material constituting the fixing member is smaller than a hardness of a material constituting the internal gear and a hardness of a material constituting the peripheral wall part.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
