Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove the dust, etc., stuck in the air intake port of a power supply unit.
SOLUTION: A fan 17 is driven in a normal-rotation direction where the air sucked from an air intake port by a normal-rotation-power controlling circuit 21 responding to a normal-rotation command signal is passed over heat generating electric parts 2, 4, 6, 7 to be exhausted from an exhaust port. The fan 17 in driven in a reverse-rotation direction where the air sucked from the exhaust port by a reverse-rotation-power controlling circuit 22 responding to a reverse-rotation command signal is exhausted from the air intake port. Until a predetermined first time limit elapses, a long-time timer 32 feeds the normal- rotation command signal to the normal-rotation-power controlling circuit 21 to light an indicator 33 when the first time limit has elapsed. When resetting the indicator 33 by operating a reset switch 34, a short-time timer 35 feeds the reverse-rotation command signal to the reverse-rotation-power controlling circuit 22 until a second time limit shorter than the first time limit elapses.
