Abstract:
PURPOSE: To produce a clothing fabric which has excellent wearability and resistance to energy discharged from an electric arc and is woven together with a blended thread composed of heat resistant staple fibers of specified LOI and fire resistant cotton fibers in a specified ratio as a weft thread.
CONSTITUTION: This fabric having a 135-203 g/m2 basic weight is woven together with a blended thread of 215-550 decitex composed of 15-50% of a heat resistant fibers such as poly(para-phenylene phthalamide) having at least 25 LOI and 50-85% of fire resistant cotton fibers as a weft thread.
