PURPOSE: To provide an electric automobile controller which can reduce the capacitance of the input capacitor of an inverter and can be reduced in size by reducing electromagnetic wave noise generated from battery wiring, etc., so as to prevent the adverse influence of the noise on the surroundings without receiving any restriction from the arrangement and design of the driving system/ structural system of an electric automobile in which a motor is controlled by means of a power converter and, at the same time, reducing jumping voltages resulting from switching operations.
CONSTITUTION: An inverter 6 is positioned closely to a battery 12 so that the battery wiring 13 from the inverter 6 to the battery 12 can become shorter than the motor wiring 5 from an induction motor 3 to the inverter 6. Then the inverter 6, battery 12, and battery wiring 13 are arranged in an electromagnetic shielding container 14.
