Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric brake system which can decelerate and a vehicle using only an electric brake without using a frictional brake, and suppress an increase in the capacity of an electric good. SOLUTION: This electric brake system is equipped with a PAM control system of a main circuit 20 composed of a step-up/step-down DC/DC converter 12 for controlling the DC voltage from an aerial line 18 inputted from a pantagraph 11 an inverter 13 which is a DC/DC converter, a group of main motors 14 used for an railway rolling stock or the like, an input part 16 wherein a brake signals is inputted, and a controller 17 which controls the PAM control system of the main circuit 20, based on a preset pattern (expected adhesive brake pattern) μ of the brake force corresponding to velocity, according to the brake signal from the brake input part 16.
