Abstract:
By means of using a charge-transporting varnish containing a charge-transporting substance comprising an oligothiophene derivative represented by formula (1), a dopant substance comprising a heteropoly acid, and an organic solvent, a charge-transporting thin film is obtained that has high transparency and is able to exhibit high durability and high brightness characteristics when used in an organic EL element. (In the formula: R1-R4 independently from each other represent a hydrogen atom or the like; n1-n3 independently from each other indicate a natural number; and 4 ≤ n1 + n2 + n3 ≤ 20 is satisfied.)
