Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable run shut-off device that is installed in a main cable run on a secondary side of a watt-hour meter when power is supplied to even a specific load while a power distribution board is supplied with power and that has a function of exerting control so as to prevent a current exceeding a contract current from flowing in a cable run, in addition to a function of shutting off in a case where an excess current flows in the main cable run.SOLUTION: A cable run shut-off device comprises a control section 24 and an opening/closing contact 21 installed in a main cable run L2 on a secondary side of a watt-hour meter 1 and provided to shut off the main cable run L2 when a current exceeding a contract current flows in the main cable run L2. An EV charger 3 supplied with a relatively large current and a power distribution board to which a plurality of electric apparatuses supplied with a relatively small current are connected are connected in parallel at an end of the main cable run L2. The control section 24 measures a current value of the main cable run L2 and, if the current value exceeds a reference current value that is smaller than the contract current by a fixed amount, the control section outputs a control signal for reducing a current supplied to the EV charger 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
