Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an amount of refrigeration oil flowing out to the outside of a closed container.SOLUTION: A motor compressor includes: an electric motor 2 comprising a stator 21 and a rotor 22; a compression mechanism part 3 rotatably driven by the electric motor; a closed container 4 housing the electric motor and the compression mechanism part thereinside; and a cover 71 arranged in the vicinity of one end in an axial direction of the stator. The cover includes an opposite part facing the one end of the stator. The opposite part is formed into a substantially circular shape with the rotational axis of the rotor as a center, and includes a large hole 72 larger than the outer diameter of the rotor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
