PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric conduction element using a liquid crystal compound, with which high electrical conductivity is attained as a career transportation layer by improving high career mobility and career injection characteristic from an electrode.
SOLUTION: The electric conduction element using the liquid crystal compound expressed with a formula (1) as the career transportation layer is provided. A and B express respectively chinoline-2,6-gill, X, and X' are single bond, oxygen atom, sulfur atom, -OOC- or -COO, one side of R and R' shows hydrogen atom, F and Cl, Br, CF3, or alkyl group having 1 to 20 carbon numbers, of a shape of a straight chain or of a branch, and the other side shows alkyl group of the shape of the straight chain or the branch having 3 to 20 carbon numbers.
