To provide an electric connection member capable of obviating the need of specially forming a mechanism for providing fitting force from the outside, hardly causing damage of each electrode, and capable of obviating the need of a positioning mechanism in fitting; and to provide its manufacturing method.
Six sets of pairs of through-holes 2a are opened in a board 2 of a male connector 1, and electrodes 3 are inserted into the respective through-holes so as to pierce them. A bonding part 4a of a ribbon-like metal wire 4 is connected so as to be arranged between the lower ends of each pair of electrodes. An insulating elastic resin layer 5 is formed on the undersurface of the board so as to be stacked. A projecting part 5a is formed at the center of the resin. The resin embeds an area of each wire located between the undersurface and the vicinity of the center of the board. The central part of the wire is exposed along the surface of the projecting part. A female connector 11 is formed into a structure capable of being fitted to and separated from the male connector.
