Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a connector capable of easily connecting a wire of a cable and a shield part to a signal terminal of the connector and shield ground.
CONSTITUTION: A wire carrier 130 with a wire 14 of a cable 12 fixed therein is moved to a rear part 36 of a front cover member 30. An exposed conductor part 108 of the wire 14 is connected to a rear terminal part 28. For this purpose, the exposed conductor part 108 is arranged adjacent the wire carrier 130. The wire carrier 130 comprises a main body member 50 having a wire reception groove 56 along the front edge to which the end of the wire 14 is fixed, a shield ground part 40 having a back extension 42 including a planer part 44 to be connected to a cable woven line 16, and a ground contact part 46 extending forwardly so as to be connected to a ground terminal of a connector.
