PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a starting switch, to conduct starting while limiting an initial current at the time of connection only by the connecting operation of an electric connector and to turn on and off electric power interlocked with inserting and extracting operations by providing a first to a fourth contacts.
SOLUTION: A plug connector 2 has a pair of long pins 2A, 2B having substantially equal length and a pair of short pins 2C, 2D having shorter length than the former, and four pieces of contacts which are electrically separated from each other are formed of each pair. When each pin of the connector 2 is equally inserted into a receptacle connector 2', at first, the pins 2A, 2B are brought into contact and the input-side capacitance of an electronic circuit package 1 is relatively gently pre-charged through a current limiting means 3. Next, the pins 2C, 2D are connected to the connector 2' somewhat later and started. Also, when the connector 2 is extracted from the connector 2, each pin is separated from each contact in the reverse order to connection, and when the pins 2A, 2B are separated, a current is limited by the means 3, so that the pins may be prevented from being damaged.
