Abstract:
To provide an electric contact system (1) for an electric switching device.
The system includes two contact units (10, 20). When electric contacts are formed in the system, contact force acts between the contact units (10) and (20). At this time, means (13, 14, 15, 18) are provided for effecting the contact force, and also, the first contact unit (10) is enabled to separate itself from the second contact unit (20). The means (14, 15, 18) are distinguished by having a thermal expansion effect which brings increase of contact force according as temperature of the means (14, 15, 18) rises.
