Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase the maximum operating frequency, to reduce the temperature coefficient, and to decrease the operating power supply voltage. CONSTITUTION: A current controlled oscillator 20 constituted of an emitter coupled multivibrator is constituted of an emitter coupling switch stage 22 which generates an output signal whose oscillation frequencies can be freely adjusted, output stage 28 which outputs the output signal, current control network 26 which is connected with the switch stage 22 and sets the oscillation frequencies of the output signal, and switch control stage 24 which is connected with the current control network 26 and the switch stage 22 and controls the switch stage 22. Also, a current control oscillator in another configuration whose constitution is the same as the current control oscillator 20 uses a current control network whose constitution is different instead of the current control network 26, and the temperature compensation of the oscillator is operated by adding an outside resistor to the current control network.
