Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain a thin soft magnetic film wherein the coercive force is reduced and the permeability is increased, by making alloy whose basic component is Fe or Fe-Co contain P as the inevitable component, and adding at least one kind out of B, N, and C to said alloy.
CONSTITUTION: In order to have composition expressed by a formula and obtain high Bs, 1-55.0at% of Fe is preferably substituted by Co, and the title thin film has high saturation magnetic flux density Bs, low coercive force Hc, and high permeability μ. Co which increases the saturation magnetic flux density is used widely in the range of 1-55.0at%, and preferably in the range of 15.0-55.0at%. P decreases the coercive force and increases the magnetic flux density in low magnetic field. B, N, and C form permeation type solid solution in Fe or Fe-Co, the main phase of Fe or Fe-Co is turned into microcrystal, the coercive force is decreased, and the permeability is increased.
