Abstract:
To provide an electric drive type valve for controlling the mixing ratio and/or the flow rate of hot water and cold water by using a stepping motor, capable of suppressing heat generation in the stepping motor while maintaining a stop state of the stepping motor.SOLUTION: The present invention is an electric drive type valve for controlling the mixing ratio and/or the flow rate of hot water and cold water. The electric drive type valve includes a stepping motor having multiple phases, a valve body that is movable in accordance with the rotation position of the stepping motor, and a motor control unit that supplies respective drive voltage patterns to the multiple phases of the stepping motor in order to control rotation and stop of the stepping motor. The mixing ratio and/or the flow rate of hot water and cold water is controlled in accordance with the position of the valve body. The motor control unit supplies, as a drive voltage pattern, an intermittent pulse voltage to at least one phase of the multiple phases during at least a part of a stop time period of the stepping motor.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
