To provide an electric driving device for welding equipment capable of shortening the whole length of the driving device, miniaturizing the device, and obtaining secure linear reciprocating movement of a pressurizing shaft by specifying a position of a guide bearing serving also as a linear motion bearing for locking the pressurizing shaft.
This electric driving device for welding equipment has a movement conversion device provided with the pressurizing shaft 7 driven by a motor 1 to convert rotary movement from the motor into reciprocating movement of the pressurizing shaft by a screw shaft 4 rotated by drive of the motor and a nut 6 fixed onto a rear part side of the pressurizing shaft and screw-fitted into a screw 8 of the screw shaft. A bracket 12 provided with the guide bearing 10 serving also as the linear motion bearing for locking the pressurizing shaft is fixed onto the rear part side of the pressurizing shaft in a driving main body case 15 in which the motor is stored and the pressurizing shaft protrudes. A position of the guide bearing at an open position of the pressurizing shaft is a section stored between the driving main body case and the motor.
