To provide an electric dust collector having the function of treating waste water capable of separating, recovering, and treating waste washing-water without relying on an existing independent waste-water treatment facility, whereby its introduction cost and installation space are reduced.
The electric dust collector 1 having the function of treating waste water is constituted of a dust collection section 3, a branched water discharge pipe 15 connected to the lower part of the dust collection section 3, a contaminant-concentration detection means 20 and a flow rate detection means 21 each installed in the pipe 15, and waste-water recovery tanks each equipped with a separate waste-water treatment facility, so that the concentration of contaminants in waste washing-water is detected by the contaminant-concentration detection means 20, the flow rate of the waste washing-water is detected by the flow rate detection means 21, the waste washing-water is separated and recycled to the respective separate waste-water recovery tanks according to its flow rate detected by the flow rate detection means 21, and the treated waste water is reused as a washing liquid. Thereby the electric dust collector 1 having a function of treating waste water is made capable of automatically separating and recovering the waste washing-water and automatically and efficiently carrying out the treatment of the recovered waste washing-water in a suitable manner without relying on an existing independent waste-water treatment facility, and the introduction cost thereof and the installation space therefor are reduced.
